I don't care enough to fight back, I've been taking Chinese classes for the past two years.

Decline is inevitable for the country. Empires last an average 250 years. Guess what we're celebrating next year?

We've been enjoying a tipped scale for decades, and no one wants the party to end, so now the living standards are getting propped up on debt. It's unsustainable. Idk why it took the 1% to sound the alarm, but we were sleep walking off a fiscal cliff. It's probably already too late for this administration to do anything, but once things start really collapsing even the top will be impacted. That momentum is separate from any "billionaire swindling us" for the next four years. They were swindling us for decades and monopolized industries, forcing out small family business and erasing the middle class. America 2.0, which is coming either way, is gonna be 99% of us realizing the true purchasing power we have (low), and the rich bailing water incessantly to try to insulate themselves from the reality.

Empires don't last anywhere near an average of 250 years. I did the math once on this forum a few years back, it was an average of like, 17 years.

The "empires last 250 years" is a very specific talking point that is meant for a US audience right now.
