I left town for a week. Most of these had a few pins, a few were probably only a few days from mature when I left.


Left to right: Casper, Albino Emerald Gates, Jack Frost, x7x+, RustyWhyte revert

First time I've grown any of these other than the RustyWhyte revert. Albino Emerald Gates looks unhealthy, but I think it was also one of the stacked ones that didn't get much FAE at all. I didn't harvest it, going to see what it does with a few days getting more FAE.

That x7x+ is from a multispore culture (from a T2 I think). It dropped an incredible amount of spores (it was one that was almost ready when I left), and it came in at 412 g wet (cubensis usually dries to 7% for me, for reference).


I cloned the largest mushroom of a nice cluster before I left, and those plates are looking great.

Falling asleep after a 12 hour drive followed by that harvest...

I like the amount of spores on that x7x+, I'd make spore prints with it just for fun.

Really happy to finally see more x7x+ from my giveaway coming up.
 
They sure do like to spurt spores, along with a few other repeating criteria that it always seems to have all the way through all 8 F I grew it to. Another thing I noticed is they seem to dry down to less than most shrooms do, which is probably part of why they're stronger. I think they have more water than a lot of shrooms, so when well dried, they do shrink a lot.

The 7 percent dry of weight compared to fresh for cubes...let me know if x7x+ dries even more.

Long time lurker joining the party. It's my second grow but the first I'm actually proud enough to post. Paired from two TW monos (confirmed with a microscope) to get that sweet sweet monoculture I don't have the patience to make by transferring :laugh:
