I mean….we know from the DNC leaks that the Clinton campaign was coordinating with media allies. I mean, we knew that before the DNC leaks. Of course, we can easily see how conservative media coordinates with the Trump campaign, but it’s beyond the pale to think the liberals do that too.

Whether the Clinton camp invented the term or not, they absolutely weaponized her gender against Sanders. The same thing happened in 2020. The whole Elizabeth Warren thing was debunked, but the idea that we are so done with old white men prevailed. Then we nominated Joseph Robinette Biden.

Of course campaigns coordinate with media, both with their "allies" and with the media that opposes them.  Campaigns are conducted through the media in this country, in case you missed that fact.

Side Note:  I think Warren would have made an excellent president, but I am biased towards policy wonks that have actual implementable and workabke plans for their policy positions.
