Wouldn't it be some kind of felony?  To interfere with the electoral process like that.  If Trump is truly found guilty of it, then he should go to jail.

Some people seem to think that I am a Trump supporter, I am not. I do not care whether he runs in 2024 one way or the other.


I hope genesis is just referring to gerrymandering and voter suppression. I believe the fake electors case is separate.

Trump is implicated in the whole fake electors thing, but gerrymandering and voter suppression aren't necessarily to do with trump, but other Republican pundits.

Essentially, even without trump those would and do happen. There's a lot of dubious political tactics, pork barreling is another example.

I think his dirty lawyer came up with the idea. But Trump is definitely the one who said we should go through with the fake elector plot. That’s on him.
At least it should be.

The fake electors scheme is separate from voter suppression.

Despite trumps claims, there was no voter fraud outside of the 10 or so cases in any given year. Certainly no change.

The voter suppression takes form in more red tape to be able to cast a vote, making access to voting harder.

The 'stolen' mailboxes were from a paint and repair facility.

So I'm pretty sure the voter suppression wasn't from mailboxes being stolen, but from the ease of voting being made harder.

They now make new collection boxes also. Photos such as this appear every couple of years.”

There was an election fraud in...what was it, Iowa? One of those bumfuck nowhere red states. Republicans tried to steal a congressional seat.

Obviously, they got caught, because they're idiots. Last time they did this, in 2018, the managed to knock out a democratic representative for a year, and then steal the seat completely in 2019.

Yeah, not a lot of counts of voter fraud, definitely not a widespread epidemic.

Voter fraud is moot, voter suppression is rampant.

Trump went on a lot about how the votes were in his favour earlier on voting day but then 'abruptly' changed.

He tried to frame the turning of a red wave as some kinda corruption, when the simple explanation is that the mail in votes were counted later.

In Australia every school and plenty of community halls or local spaces become a voting center. The longest I've ever waited in line is under 10 minutes.

I think senior citizens were allowed a kind of text or electronic vote, but early polling centres were open around the place for a while before the election day too.

It's easy to vote here, generally there should be a place to vote within a 10 minute drive of wherever someone is, but if someone doesn't have their own transport they're not far on public transport.

Mail in votes are easy enough to do early on too. Just got to ask online or visit a post office I think.

My wife dropped my mail in ballot cause I was recovering from surgery.

Should of stuffed my intestines back inside my abdominal cavity and boot strapped myself to the voting center.

I’m part of the woke conspiracy I guess.

The Democrats are the ones who fostered the Russiagate witch hunt, and are now weaponizing the justice system against their opposition.

The Nazis claimed to be a Socialist party. They pretended to be leftists, just like the Democrats pretend to be leftists.

Trump loves flowery language. He makes promises all the time. He just said that the Democrats want to outlaw Christmas.:shrug:
Also, Democrats aren’t burning books.
I’m not saying Democrats are blameless.
But Republicans are definitely the ones with a lot more fascist lean.

No it doesn't. It presents itself the exact same way it did in the 1930s. It's a big roaring party. It's fun rallies. It's saying that trans and gay people are groomers and child molesters. It's saying that anybody that disagrees with them is the enemy. It's a projection of machismo, and a celebration of the id for those that can afford to be in the club. But even those that can afford the club are layered into the haves and the have nots.

All of this happened 100 years ago. All of it is happening today.

And just like the Nazis pretended to be socialists because the people liked socialist ideas, trump pretends to be a populist who cares about the people.

Well, Trump actually put somebody in charge of the USPS. Who did not have the American voters best interest at heart. They had trump’s best interest at heart.
So they tried to justify it with some thin excuse. But they ended up stealing a lot of mailboxes that did not come back.

Some people in our country have to wait almost an entire day to go and vote in person.
