Also, depending on the state, they may have to prove that he knew the statement was material.

Rxb's proposed line of questioning wouldn't likely even be material, and any potential lie is even less likely to be material.

if he was convicted of insurrection it should disqualify him and we also do not know for sure that he can pardon himself, although his jail time may need to wait until he is done with the presidency if he isnt disqualified.

i have seen real lawyers squabble over the facts with regards to self pardoning ... with no end in sight.

I wonder what would need to happen for the base to turn on Trumpy.  Like, what if someone started spreading anonymous rumors on 8chan or some such that he's actually the evil mastermind behind pizzagate and Epstein's island, like, the whole time.

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

People won’t make the same mistake twice. Trump won in 2016 because most people couldn’t imagine a grotesque simpleton like Trump could actually become president. No way Hillary could lose.
