it would be a good argument for them... in many cases.

And by the way, if you really need verification that I'm a lawyer...balls knows my real name and can look me up on calbar.org

so now you want me to take the word of balls?

riiiiiight. that bolsters your point alot.

no i really am a lawyer guys... ask my buddy

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA cute.

Also, depending on the state, they may have to prove that he knew the statement was material.

Rxb's proposed line of questioning wouldn't likely even be material, and any potential lie is even less likely to be material.

you keep saying i proposed a line of questioning... which i keep saying im not doing nor am i qualified to do.

what a silly boy.

if he was convicted of insurrection it should disqualify him and we also do not know for sure that he can pardon himself, although his jail time may need to wait until he is done with the presidency if he isnt disqualified.

i have seen real lawyers squabble over the facts with regards to self pardoning ... with no end in sight.

nah... i proposed a direction of travel...i didnt chart a course.

not only that i said it was one direction of many... which was very general on purpose.

cuz i was just saying getting on the stand would be bad for trump very generally and you attempted to drag me for it and looked ... well like you looked doing it.

I wonder what would need to happen for the base to turn on Trumpy.  Like, what if someone started spreading anonymous rumors on 8chan or some such that he's actually the evil mastermind behind pizzagate and Epstein's island, like, the whole time.

Edit: what if that's how his hands got so tiny? Like, maybe it's a side effect of the satanic rituals?

i dont know if there is anything he could do in theory...his supporters tend to not care how bad he is because, you know... he is so good.

so thats 20% of voters.
and theres maybe abnother 20% that will just always vote republican

the question is on the remaining 11% he needs has he gained or lost voters since the last election

my bet is that he has lost a few.

It's a reference to something he said before the 2016 election man...just a fun comment.  Try it out!

yeah i remember he said he could shoot someone on 5th ave...

but i think its in fact a pretty fair assessment of the truth. i just dunno about that 11 percent he needs.

What makes you think he needs 51% to win?

its kind of symbolic... he actually need ~50.18% give or take. but shrug... i dont think the difference matters a whole lot.

i think he could theoretically win with 23 percent of the popular vote or some such ridiculousness i forget the exact number.

shrug.

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

you have to remember that enlil is such a good pretend lawyer, that he can debate himself and win everytime. so when he said trump would be the greatest, but couldnt win he was right and when he said trump was the worst he was right and when he says there is 0 chance now he is right.... thats how good of a fake lawyer he is.

People won’t make the same mistake twice. Trump won in 2016 because most people couldn’t imagine a grotesque simpleton like Trump could actually become president. No way Hillary could lose. Democrats took it for granted. Won’t happen again. Anti trump voters are just as motivated as MAGA, and a majority of the country loathes Trump
