I think that one of biggest reasons Obamacare was pushed, was that the federal governmet consumes some the most health insurance out there.

Virgina did, when I lived there. You better be well off in the event of a catastrophic accident.

Insurance companies are generally profitable, meaning they collect more than they pay out.  Therefore, the US taxpayer is probably coming out ahead by not paying for insurance.

Yes but not every client needs to use insurance. Almost no one that has a claim has put more in then they get out. That is why it's called insurance

Yeah, and BLM / Antifa should be court ordered to pay restitution to all the hundreds of businesses and hundreds of random peoples lives they completely destroyed.

Instead they get a free pass because they are useful foot soldiers for the left.

Since antifa is just an idea, it can't be ordered to pay anything.

that is, as usual, bullshit. Individuals on the left -or who commit crimes during protests- are often held to account, fatally at times.
Saying that antifa, rather than individual looter/rioters should be court ordered to pay restitution makes no sense... and would also be impossible as it isn't an organization, as Enlil commonly reiterates

Imagine if a single blm protester attacked the cops with the pointy end of a flagpole holding a Biden flag. There are dozens of videos out there showing trump supporters using trump flags to attack and repel police.

Just to be clear. These people are beating a cop they had just dragged out of a doorway.

Of course, why else would people buy insurance?  Most people don't ever have giant claims though, and most people who buy insurance lose money, except those who have the giant claims, and insurance companies almost always come out ahead overall.

Since Government is so large, it would cost a fortune to have everything it owns insured, and one claim against one part of Government is more than offset by all the money it saved by not paying a fortune into insurance for everything it owns.

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

I like the transfer of liability aspect. Most insurers have their own insurance; reinsurance.
