This is b+ akm, i have red spore, thai pink buffalo, south african and lizard king colonizing and recently spawned.

I came home one time and saw my dog swiped a dried half oz. off the counter. She ate through the bag but didnt eat the shrooms. I weighed em to be sure. They were all there. Guess she didnt like the smell.

You’re lucky. I had a pair of pit bulls that loved shrooms. One ate an entire oz of PE once. They would steal em any chance they could. Snatch a bag and run with it. Then rip it open and gobble the shrooms up quick.

What grain is that little round one mixed in? Is that quinoa?

My dog wants nothing to do with my shrooms luckily! I let one of my cats sniff a cap once and she just lunged for it, took a big bite but then realized it wasn't tasty and spat it out quick. Thought my little lady was going to have a bit of a ride for the night!

Lmao, one of our dogs did it once: none of them have even shown curiosity since... I hadn't weighed it, but couldn't have been more than 4-5g... stayed under the bed for 2 hours, then wanted belly rubs

This is kind of neat...



The culture climbed the bag to fruit near the patch (common when I'm late getting to them) but they usually come off with the bags when I trim... this one is nearly an inch thick at the base and stayed attached and erect: gonna leave it and see what's good

My dog would eat the whole bag and leave the mush.

My cat though that fucker is trying to be one with the universe. He snags mush anytime I pick. He lays on my stash spot, and cries. Fucking dickhead even stole a tab before. The only time he will cuddle up to me is when I'm in hyperspace, he just stares at me like "I know what's up and I got you"

Did you have trouble getting it to germinate?

Amazonian underbed. Idk what’s up with this kind but the first flush in the shoebox had a mass abort and now this one has some weird stuff starting up. Same culture as the shoebox just a transfer or two later.

Hi Guys,

I have been on my first journey with cultivating mushroom for a couple of months now and I just finished my first harvest but could use some further advice now.:confused:
I have two monotubs that are fruiting and I just harvested the small one my first question is did I harvest at the right time and do they look healthy, is it normal with the fur around the root of the stem?

Do to rookie skills I forgot to label my spawn bags so its either B+ or GT, anyone with an idea what it is?

Last question... I was thinking of waiting a day to harvest the big tub since all the fruits are not fully developed, is this the right thing to do?

I started out with Multispore Syringe of both B+ and GT and did a few transfer before inoculation even do it doesn't make that much since based on what I could read... But I think it gave me a reasonable result with very uniform fruits and nice yield or what do you think? :laugh:

It’s really hard to tell normal cubes apart but if I had to guess I’d say the second picture looks like the gt I’ve grown.

First, dont change the subject line
Secondly, this is a picture of the day thread, questions are better suited in cultivation general discussion
Thirdly, stipe, not stem, fuzzy feet could indicate excess moisture, or insufficient air exchange, some varieties/ isolations are genetically predisposed and get them regardless: these look like normal fuzzy feet for dense pinset... not much air exchange that far in, no worries

It's definitely cubensis, both b+ and gt are classic looking so no real way of telling them apart ..

Harvest fruit as they're ready if youd like, or wait and take them all together, and just deal with unsightly spore dump
