  Central Jersey not bad for a hunch and less than 5 minutes of picking. I've checked this mulch pile for 3 years and nothing.  This was the year

Yea it's the cauliflower looking one, it's only the second time I've found it. First time was probably 8 years ago playing disc golf.

This is from 04/29/2019...
Cut most of the tubs so they have a bit of space to grow out... Tubs barely holding cut em up so bad they're falling apart or sliding up or sideways.

Pictures from today.
Those Voids are crazy they continue putting out more fruit... They're putting second flush and completely different looking mushrooms! There are so many on the side of the tube I can't put my phone in to take a picture of the many small voids.

My good spots are new creeks and neighborhoods. The good spots from previous years aren’t producing like they used to

I don’t know if we stumbled upon some crazy rare genetics or it’s just super optimal conditions, but these ovoids are freakishly big.



I’ve never found nor do I recall ever seeing photos of an ovoid this large.

I saw two ovoids nearly that size today.

I chucked them into the woods under the impression they were agrocybes or something, since they were drying out and having a hard time bruising.

Went and collected the scraps and sure enough the bruising started.
