Interesting new psilocybe find? 2

I have to say I'm pretty excited right now. I have stumbled across a cluster of what I believe are P. cubensis, but they are displaying some characteristics that are unusual for cubensis.. Firstly, I found this dense little cluster on a property close to where I live in Northern NSW, Australia. They are growing on the top (1.5m high) of a 6 month old woodchip pile, in winter; very un-cubensis..
The pile of woodchips is 95% Camphor laurel and about 5% Acacia melanoxylon. I know this because I helped cut the trees that became the pile. The pile consists predominantly of chips rather than leafy material, and is decomposing nicely. The pile is also in the shade of some tall eucalypts.
I know that proper ID will be impossible until the caps break free of the veil, and a spore print has been done, but I'm confident none the less, as I am well versed in cubensis and also subaeruginosa ID..
I'm not sure how clear it is in the pictures but the stems and caps have a distincltly bluish tinge to them.. Truly beautiful to behold in the flesh..
If this is some sort of woodloving cubensis strain, I would really love to offer spore prints to anyone who can and will propagate it, as I don't really have the know how to do so.
I'll keep photo's coming as they unfold

Robidoe, do you think that garden bed would have been enriched with compost or manure at some point? Also, being summer there it makes more sense that they would be around.

Very interesting specimens. I look forward to what unfolds. They look like cubes and ovoids had a love child. Gorgeous. Don't forget to keep some for DNA sequencing.. these are really cool.

Those aren't Psilocybe, they are honey mushrooms - something like Armillaria hinnulea.

Here's another pic taken of the same mushrooms two days earlier, with an iphone 4. The colour definition is completely different and may be more true to life.

You could very well be right Alan Rockefeller, but I'm not convinced. Time will tell

Your new photo looks like Psilocybe cubensis, however chevrons on the stipe are very common in Armillaria.
No blue staining, right?
White spore print?

Yeah doesn't look like theres any blue on them in that pic. They do look like cubes but they wouldnt grow straight from woodchips(without manure) would they?

The recent pic I just posted was taken two days earlier, at which point there was no noticeable blueing, however the mushrooms now have a hazy blue tint over them, reminiscient of P. ovoideocystidiata. Difficult to see in the original pics.
None have broken free from the veil yet, so I haven't taken spore prints, but as soon as I do I'll let you know.
I'd put money on them being of the Genus Psilocybe, but perhaps we see what we want to see
