I have never played 3-cushion yet even though 2 of the places I frequent have a billiards table.  Several strong players suggested I start playing it to improve my overall game which consists of 8,9,10 ball and straight pool. It looks very fun!

You must live up north?  Two places (or even just one) is uncommon in the south.  Hopefully they are heated tables with Siminos cloth.  It will certainly improve your understanding of those games, but it will also mess them up for a while, as well, because 3-C requires an entirely different stroke (and cue, but you can bring your own down to 17.5 and still manage alright).  When one of the strong players believes you to be ready, time will be taken to teach you.  Caroms are a blast.

no, even from this shroomery forum we can see how people talk about BLM as though they are just whining about nothing, it doesnt take much for that ambivalence to result in violence.

its interesting most people would jump to the conclusion of attacks in general are being from islamic extremism before anything. Some people jumped straight to this claim in Norway with the first explosion - by a christian. But people seem a little more resistant when acts against the BLM might be from white supremacists. Yes, it is speculation at this point but you have to admit that since the police said it was 3 white men in ski masks attacking Black Lives Matter, it does strongly indicate this was down to racism! (cue hostileuniverse saying that everything is accused as being racist. "i wana eat a sandwich - RACIST" "i wana put a ski mask and shoot into a black rights movement - RACIST!" ) This is not the first time white people have come to the group to intimidate.
