Guess you missed the sarcasm in my last post.
Mideast meddling by the U.S. boils down to two things, OIL and Judeo-Christian Civilization vs. Islamic 'civilization.' In the case of Iraq, it's all about the OIL. To believe that our political 'leaders' have the best interests of the Iraqi people or their neighbors (with the exception of Isreal) in mind is simply naive. Has anybody read Machievelli's 'The Prince'?
-------------------- To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.' Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence. Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains. Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.

Superpimp, fuck you for your comments. Hoping that the sniper will be there? Jesus man come on. I have debates with friends all the time that think we should invade Iraq, but I never expected someone to say anything like that. If you dont have any constructive comments on the issue dont post. I hope there is a way to vote you out of being a "mod" I hope the next time you trip you have a nervous breakdown because you realize how horrible of a person you are. Go help out our forces when they are getting gassed and shit and see how much you like it then dumb ass. Maybe we should let you invade since you know everything, and let you do some ninja shit on Saddam, then you could be my hero. I also am not a hippie without a back bone, i just think this war is going to cause a lot more shit than anybody is prepared to deal with. If we attack, all kinds of shit is going to break loose. I'll be back tonite after class and I have a post ready that you will really enjoy. Its informative, not insulting to you. THat's all out of the way now. I still hate you for wishing that the sniper is at the protest.

No, he's right. What I said was very insensitive and stupid. I apologize for that. I know better than to shoot my mouth off like that, but I went and did it anyway. I was trying to make a point, and I did it very badly. For that, I'm sorry, I didn't really mean to wind people up quite this much, I just wanted to stir the pot a little bit, and I went about it all wrong. This was especially bad since I am one of the mods in this forum and part of my job is to keep other members here from doing exactly what I just did. So again, I appologize, and it won't happen again.

Hmmm i would never go to a protest
The NWO can't wait to try out some new technological non-lethal weapons of war. Most of it will be new chemical rioting control, but others like high pitch-sound blasters. Shit if you go to a protest, i must say your BRAVE!

I certainly hope not, but I think at this point it is inevitable. Bush is going to take over Iraq come hell or high water...

No war, however, will not stop a protest. You guys would protest Bush if he decided to stop supporting Israel just because he's a Republican. Sorry, there was a time when a protest meant something.

There will be a conflict, but I predict it will mostly consist of our special forces destroying weapons plants and assassinating key political figures in Iraq.

You guys would protest Bush if he
I would protest Dubya if he was giving blood to a dying child. Not because he is a republican but because he was not elected to office. He was placed in office. Therefore he is a dictator. Maybe Hussein should invade us to replace our dictator with a democratic officer again.
