? Life is free, everyone gets one, and when your done with it there's nothing left of it to keep- so I'm not sure it can be considered that valuable.

? I don't recall asking to be born. If it had been my choice to live, it would make more sense for me to have some kind of goal. I just got dropped in the middle of this absurd game without being told the rules and now everyone expects me to play. So I do, because what else is there?

? There is nothing life could 'give' me that would make me truly content- not true love, not spiritual enlightenment, not wealth and physical comfort- because it will all be taken away when I die.

? On the other hand, I could deal with a life of suffering and disappointments, because I've never felt the universe owes me anything or that my problems (as long as they don't become other people's problems) even matter.

So as I philosopher, all I can say is that I want nothing out of life.

But as a primate, I could tell you I want the same stuff anyone wants. All those simple, obvious things that make you feel good for whatever reason.
The whole 'heirarchy of needs' from oxygen to enlightenment.
Why? I don't even care why.

Because it's there...?
