sillysimon,

there are just as high a proportion of heterosexual relationships that are more about sex than love as there are homosexual. that is part of the nature process.

one question to you, if the future does offer the opportunity for two homosexual partners to mix genes and reproduce, does this then nullify your bigotry?

very true, i agree,

well to answer you honestly i would say that is really unessary when you can impregnate a woman by busting up in her.. the simple way nature intends, but of course this strikes up other things like, nature intends us to drink directly from the stream instead of a bottle, or mushrooms should grow in the wild and not be cultivated.. well i just think we are made to be co-creators for simpler means of life, not that we dont understand it but we dont fuck with it.. if their is a cycle, follow it..

smaller matters i think are ok to manipulate concerning the circumstances...

but i dunno,i think that is sodomy of nature... in a way, but on the other hand i see nothing wrong with it just as long as it is concentrated on prospering the human race.

Then you have to wonder what the prosperity of the human race entails... at the moment the people in power seem to think macdonalds and war...

I don't think I have any ethical issues with the idea of reproduction without sex. To me, the ethical issues should revolve more around the parenting of a child and its environment than the process by which it was created.

People don't need to be born with same-sex genes to end up sat in front of a TV watching lame talk shows ;P

But seriously, I can't answer your question because I'm not a scientist and don't know the details. I guess we'll end up finding out in the future.

It's arguably more "un-natural" to hurtle through the sky 35,000 feet above the earth in an aluminum tube traveling at .9 mach where the temperature is about minus 100. But nobody ever suggests that there's something wrong or "against nature" about airliners.

i didnt read all the replies so if this has already been mentioned i apologize for rehashing....

I do not think all people are bisexual, because many of the reasons we find something attractive are based on symetry and proportion and other asthetic qualities and some instinctual programming. smooth skin its a sign of health and nutrition, shiny thick hair the same, symetry denotes strong genetics which give an increased chance for good health, all this suggest that the person in question is probably healthy, strong and able to breed, and that the offspring would have a good start in life, and the species would be more likely to survive, ofcourse most of that goes on at an unconscience level usually.

These are some of the biological reasons while we are likely to find someone attractive, but we also have cultural reasons, and on top of that we have plain common sense to help us identify what is likely to be found attractive by others. I've heard many girls say brad pitt is hot, so if i see someone who looks like brad pitt or exhibits similar qualities its not much of a leap to assume many girls would also find that person attractive. But beyond the sexual we have an innate appreciation of health and symetry and we are able to recognize qualities that suggest health, or appreciate symetry (i keep spelling that wrong dont i?). So pile genetics and biology ontop of cultural influences, life experience, common sense and you have the reasons why we find a particular person or object attractive or while we are atleast likely to assume many others would find it/them attractive.

If we were all bisexual we would want to have sex with people of the same sex or other sex regardless as long as we found them attractive and their personality or fear of what others might think didnt convinced us not to, but that is not the case for most people.

I've never wanted to have sex with another man, as im sure many of you other males out there have not either, same for the females out there. i have nothing against it, and while yes i probably would be concerned by how others would react if i did, that really isnt important since the desire has never been there in the first place. But i can still identify a guy as likely being attractive to girls, and i certainly would rather look at brad pitt instead of richard simmons but i have no desire to sleep with either or raise children with them. In my personal opinion i do think that girls are more likely to be or atleast experiment with bisexuality, but probably mostly due to cultural reasons, its far less frowned upon for two women to have sex in most circles then it is for men, so more women are probably likely to push the boundaries of what is generally considered "normal" sexuality if they have a desire to, where as many more men despite their desire would likely bow to cultural pressures outta fear and obstain from experimenting. Its just another double standard. We get to have sex with lots of girls with out being considered whores (generally speaking) and girls get to have sex with other girls and its more generally accepted. And ofcourse u have the hypocracy of guys who hate "fags" but wack off constantly to two girls havin sex. personally i find male/male sex gross, but then i find anal sex gross in general, and i dont have anything against them for doing it, just like i dont have anything against people who eat cottage cheese, because i think thats gross too. But ya, i like seein some girl/girl action as much as any guy or girl

if you masterbate and fuck the opposite sex than your bisexual, in a way.Its kinda complex to explain.
Its not exactly homosexuality though.

doing chicks up the arse is unatural and i like it. somethings unnatural are good although i wouldnt fuck another man , too unatural for me. But seriouslt there is no such thing as unatural just personal prefrences. An alien would be considered unatural but in fact they are natural

so many big questions about sexuality, morals, psychology and behaviour in society today cannot be answered completely or accurately.

history, media, personal surroundings and social conditioning make one a product of their environment, (plus there are so many diverse environments out there!) and the pressure of such outside influences is more rampant than ever. the sophistication of communication means information is easily wide-spread but also easily manipulated and confused.

i think we have lost the ability to answer questions like these to a high level of exactness, especially when we try to generalise across a wide spectrum of the population.
