Jesus!!! I’m still going round fo round with my pan plates. I may just wait another few weeks until I can get back in the marketplace and go for some spores or a new plate.

I did do some cubes in zip locks to get the hang of it. I would say it went OK

@Splittinghairs, nice- good luck with it. I've just reupped on 'milo'/'red dhari' aka big millet myself, looking forward to using it again.

@KingBoomer, fuck yeah!
:awepuss:

So I had this Nutcracker clone box, spawned fuckin ages ago with underhydrated grain. It looked like this a few weeks back:

Then I noticed it was looking EXTRA squint the other day- to where the sub was covering the air holes.
:sherlock:
Lo and behold it was bottom pinning like an MF so I done the old fliparoo onto the arse of a nother tub then gently slid it back into an ezdial-

2 days later:

:allbackedup:

Then I have a few Zap VC who are semmingly blobbing up (unsure whether it's response to the heat maybe, or it's my culture as I've a VC plate who has grown a substainle psuedo sclerotia along the plates edge) :

A questionable Tamp box I don't trust around the rest got put outdoors for any long term truffles, noticed it gave these little psadsacs-

:wave: bless them.

Zap Tex clone:

and some misc pics from today:

Attempting to top fruit some Bluey Vuitton cakes from the jar, in a monotub filled with perlite for stealth reasons. No clue if this will work.

^ I used to, pastyplates were fantastic. Since I started doing pours with disposable sauce containers, I can't go back though. 1000ml yields me 70 plates, no wrapping required. After its done, I just recycle them.
