Skill maintenance grow that got semi-neglected when life happened and colonized jars were left a little too long. Nonetheless, I now have prints available to give back to the community :mushroom::cheers:

Ochra T2 plates that are getting close to a grain transfer.

Ochras have the overlay so I took a pic of the backside of one to show the hyphae (yeah, I looked that up).

Today, harvested Semperviva PL fast.
I laid it out for printing, I think it should all turn out almost black under the caps.
I consider that maintaining it in such a chocolate-like state color is the right approach.

Hi JLR. I use light malt extract and make the agar layer as thin as possible. I pour a bit of hot agar in a plate and then roll it around to completely cover the bottom. Yeah, very clean and it lets the agar flask fill more plates, too.

Learned the technique here. It’s a fun one.
