20 mins for agar in media bottles. I wouldn’t go past the 350-375ml line. You don’t want boil over. Leave the lid loose, no foil needed. You need to use a borosilicate bottle, which is like Pyrex. I like that you’re taking on agar my man! Also this would be better suited in the QQ,QA thread.

Yes I thought id practice this christmas at mums. Its buying all the ingredients. Agar Agar I know, but maltodextrin is cheap at any liqour store. THanks for the positive comment. Needed that.

You guys think this LC looks a little hazy or off at all? I knocked up 2 pint jars of lme with clean lc and have been pulling from the other one and getting clean grains however this one has been in my fridge for a couple of months and now its time to use it and thought there may have been a little haziness?

This is also after a swirl on the stirrer mostly looked like clean mycelium when it originally grew out and was thinking maybe it got a little bacterial?

It looks hazy. Let it settle and recheck the clarity of the liquid. You can always test it on agar before going to grain.
