Need input. First Cultivation!!!!

Hey everyone!

Ok...a very good friend of mine, known as Ripple1958, on the shroomery (big shout out to you!!!!!! ) mailed me a cake. (Thank you so much darling!) It's made from BRF, Vermiculite and water blah blah blah. The strain is Pink Buffalo P. Cubensis and has to have an incubation temp of at least 85 degrees F.  I don't have an incubator nor can I make one...I'm on an extremely limited income  :crazy:

This is my first cultivation....and decided to ask if it is safe to incubate it in a box with newspaper surrounding the jar and putting it on top of my computer monitor. I am not sure of the temperature of the monitor. My computer is on all the time so the monitor does get pretty warm. so I wanted to know if I could get some input. I do not want to fuck up this cultivation. So please opinions please!!!

well I was told to possibly keep it on my monitor for several hours but not all the time...

I do not want this colonization to go slow. I want it to go normally.
But thank you for your imput :laugh:

I went to the dollar store (not sure if they have that where you live), and picked up 2 small rubbermade containers for a total of $8 bucks, then went to petsmart and picked up a submersible water heater for $12... Fill the bottom rubbermade with hotwater, put in the water heater, and put the other rubbermade on top of it-- It's a solution that works and shouldn't run you over $20 or so bucks

when I say I have an extremely limited budget, I meant it lol. I have no cash on me what so ever probably for a couple of weeks.

Next to your furnace or in the same area as you water heater will work well. Do not place directly on your furnace or water heater, just in the same area. The higher...the better (closer to the ceiling).

Fill a 2 liter bottle with the hottest tap water you have and keep it in the same drawer. Replace the water every 4-6 hours. If you have to, use 2-3 Bottles.
