I got a return this year but the gubmint took it back because they said I was overpaid in 2016 or some shit.  2016?  That was 9 years ago. I thought these fuckers only go back 7?

minimum filing income isn't much higher than $15k, it's like $15,800 or some shit🤷‍♂️

Bro... the last time I did my taxes.. I owed a lot, and I was homeless.

I dont think we should be taxing poor people this is insane. Folks are already having a hard time affording basic necessities like avocados and cell phones and things are tough all over. I think we should be very concerned that a tax like this would seriously stifle the economy and rattle markets globally. Once again it just seems like you people are hell bent on shooting ourselves in the foot and manufacturing a recession for dumbass reasons. I mean is there nothing prescient about choosing leaders with a pathological narcissism mixed with an unbounded entrepreneurial spirit, peppered with a life mission of compensatory revenge?

Well, I've got good news! Once the 30% tariffs are implemented across the board, assuming that consumers maintain current levels of consumption, we won't need to pay income tax! A simple 30% flat consumption tax is enough to replace income tax entirely!

Of course, we might need to adjust that percentage upwards a bit if people stop buying so much stuff.
