Yes.  Sales taxes are regressive, as are tariffs.  Flat taxes largely become regressive via write-offs and carve outs the wealthy can take advantage of.  It always surprises me that many people don't understand this.

What it actually is supposed to be is a series of satellites that would be able to intercept a missile as it’s being launched before it’s even left the country that it’s being fired from.

Which would be a lot different than what Israel has.
The name is just similar because of marketing.

but hey, republicans managed to pass their big great bill to raise taxes on the little people do the millionaires and billionaires don't have to pay as much tax (which they werent even paying anyways).  added another 3.5 trillion in debt on top of the existing projections while running around breaking the law firing people in the name of saving money.

so while they're defunding your childrens education, cancelling cancer research, cancelling services for old people, cutting healthcare, pardoning traitors and paying them out, opening national forests for logging, cancelling oversight investigations into cops, making every aspect of your life more stressful and expensive and selling your personal data to the russians and anyone with an AI model to train, sleep well knowing that at least the rich people aren't stressing under the burden of paying some more money that they could easily afford.
