Probably like 15 years ago. LSD maybe 10. Haven’t done any other psychs since then.

It’s a great experience that I think everyone should have, and you definitely have that “oneness with everything” feeling, but I think it’s fleeting.

That said, all my hippie friends are probably the only leftist friends I have from way back, but I live in conservative land so that tracks.

I’m not opposed to doing it again but I have a kid now and it’s hard to find time for myself. I’m lucky to get a couple hours at the driving range.

I've been more on a cocaine, meth and heroin thing for the past... while..

But.. whenever I start growing again, I'll start tripping again.. last time I took shrooms was like 5 grams, maybe a year ago...

These days, I'm just sober..

To be fair, I also have trouble comprehending how people survive on less than...I guess 80k ish now, last time I really thought about it I considered 55-60k to be the absolute minimum survival salary, and we've had half a decade of inflation since then.

My first job out of college was around 50, maybe a decade or so ago, and I considered that pretty bare minimum. Yet somehow people are making it 'work' on 35 today.

Making it work to me would insinuate being able to thrive. Not just survive.
They rent instead of owning.

Yeah, that's kinda what I meant by "bare minimum". 50k a little over a decade ago was enough that I no longer had to check my bank account before buying something that wasn't pre-planned. I could just go shopping, say "hey, I want that", and buy it without worry.

Now, I think that breakpoint would be around 80.

After that, you can start putting money into retirement and investing, too.

I had some mushy tea (and some other stuffs :crazy2:) at burning man 5 years ago... LSD a little over a year ago. I'm too old to be going wild all the time now. Definitely in a 'if I come across it I'll consider it, but not seeking it out' period of my life.

We.. don't. We have no savings, no retirement, can't afford healthcare even if we have insurance, and any major car trouble ruins us.
I've been searching for a better job for months now. It's amazing the amount of listings that are completely divorced from the cost of living here. They have the audacity to demand that you live locally, then offer a salary where you'll be forced to forego food in order to pay rent.

My vehicle ruined me. It’s still sitting in the driveway. Not even a CashforCars wants it now.
Every time it would just have some ridiculous part go wrong. It’s all Mopar and It needed to be ordered from Europe. Ridiculously expensive.
One time no joke.
They told me the craftsman would have two orders before me before he could carve an O-ring out of a piece of metal for me.
Why couldn’t they just 3-D print it!?
It wasn’t until years later that somebody told me that the person who owned it before me. Had been putting pink farm diesel straight into the gas tank.
Fucking lemon.

I ate almost a quarter at Dead and co at Fenway this summer.  Apparently it only takes me a couple months to forget just how difficult a hard trip can be in public :picard:

at least once a week casual dose ~1g strong pe. sometimes twice a week.

for special occasions like say.. tool on sunday:awesome: more like 2-3g pe.
