Coir/BRF cakes in Water Tub with the lid completely off the last 8h, dont even need to mist and microclimate on the surface is still solid. Tho there has been rain for the last days and humidity is pretty high outside for the moment so evaporation is way slowed down. I don't even know why I keep misting these when it's hardly necessary, I guess old habits don't die easily.

So turns out myc will go right through cardboard. I packed the tube with coir and Amazonian spawn to see what happens with a lot of spawn but tiny surface area.  Then I just noticed that the whole top third is coated in myc.

26hrs after the first shake looks like its recovering well. A2g maz plate pin is being tested to see the quality of the culture.

Lol I was and then after talking about it used up a roll of foil right before spawning so I figured it was a sign.

I thought maybe eventually it would get through but not this much or this quick.

Myc is amazing. My first grow I pcd coir in an oven bag with vent holes covered in mp tape.

I ended up using the bag as a liner and the myc grew through the mp tape. It was super crazy looking too like white silly putty. The micro pores were like a myc diffuser.

happy sunday people ;

so these tubs were made on april 26 and 30 , and they're still pumping out healthy fruits ; i'm feeling really good about my spawn right now , those were the first ones from the big batches i've been making ,  i am at tub 124 since that day and just two of them have contaminated , one was a dump tub and the other on had yellow bacteria shit but still fruited decently ; not all of them have fruited nicely of course  , i'm blaming that on the culture as i tried like 10 different cultures,  but still , no green and still going 

next ones are looking decent too !
