Critters..why did God do it to us??
    #1931153 -

I told you I'd have champagne tonight and have some weird posts. Well, I didn't drink champagne, but I did have four beers, so pardon me for the silliyness of this question, but I do have a question: assuming that our world was created with a purpose in mind, why were little nasties created like mosquitoes, fleas, gnats, and ticks?

I went out today after discovering a morning glory vine on the fence in my backyard. I was attacked without reason by wave-after-wave of mosquitoes. I looove most insects, but these little bastards (or more accurately bitches) flew in relentlessly..why??? I mean I was minding my own business, and these damn things are bizarre when you really think about it, they are equipped by nature with hypodermic syringes for noses that they plunge into your skin to drain your blood.

I was trying to sleep last night and had to leave my bedroom because of a damn mosquito. (I had a job interview the next day). That little mother fucker bit my ear and it "swole up" bigtime. I closed my bedroom door and lay down on a couch in another room only to find another goddmamn mosquito buzzing around in there!!

So.. what purpose in Gods creation do these things serve that I'm missing?

The trees might ask
Why did God create those annoying humans that are always cutting us down
The purpose they serve is their own existence...not yours

God wants you to confront the possibility that he does not exist.

Ok slipknot, so maybe they have their own survival programs and we have ours, but pull back to life-as-whole ( if I had true enemies I'd insert them here) on this planet.

Maybe these little bastards are here to serve all creation in a different sense..come on, how often have you felt the annoying bite of a flea, mosquito, or tick only to ask..."What the hell is this little bastard doing to me bigtime?". I mean he must serve some purpose right?

This is my little theory. Nature is in a constant arms race. Mother Nature is the process that regulates this whole thing. She ensures the survival of her progeny by making sure that her babies have knowledge of advances in bio-technology so they can adapt as a species before they are destroyed. One way she does this is through mosquitoes. They suck our blood and DNA, transmitting it to other species so that they can update their survival mechanisms.

Bats and birds are very hungry, you know..

And something needs to keep other species populations in check..

insects evolved into near "perfection" thousands of years ago..

They had this planet worked-out way before we came along and started fucking stuff up.

They're probably wondering almost the same question "dear God: why OH why did you put these dumbass humans here?"

Sorry, folks - This is Evolution, not "God's handywork." - Insects "worked," so they thrived. Primates "worked" as well later down the timeline, so they started thriving as well..

"Critters" come into existence because of the magnitude of negative HUMAN feeling that exists within the biosphere....Energy is all there is, just as the weight of collective/dynamic thought moulds&sculpts our future as a species(on the physical plane), so there exists(as in all branches of nature) off-shoots of this creative energy. Basically, negative human emotion on a vast & collective scale brings into existence "critters" that are as useless as their creative source.Until we as a whole learn to dispense with our negative emotions, we will have to suffer the insect menace. Certain magickal orders are familiar with formulae that can cause the spontaneous emergence of "new" species of insect.ENERGY FOLLOWS THOUGHT, MATTER AS ENERGY ALWAYS REQUIRES A PHYSICAL VESSEL FOR EXPRESSION.

mosquitos are for falling in amber and preserving DNA so that scientists can ressurect dinosours aeons later, with hilarious results!

I still think the mosquitoes are the key to a lot of problems and someone really needs to look into this. They are sucking our blood and using the DNA to update other animals survival programs making them more vicious and deadly. We know they are great storers and transmitters of viruses. And what are viruses? Bits of RNA and genetic code.

I mean what's really happening here, folks?
Mosquitoes are running around (flying actually) with their hypodermic needle proboscises, jabbing them into us and rapidly flying off with our bodily fluids. What are the hell are they doing with this valuable genetic material?? I can just picture them now in their little mosquitoe labs with their tiny little white lab coats on tampering with our DNA in ways we can't conceive of with our current technology. God only knows what viruses they are cooking up right now...*shiver*.
