it's pretty obvious to anyone paying attention that the Bush administration did indeed make that claim.

Really? Let's see a direct quote. With link please.

I've posted this 2 or 3 times with the link:

"No terrorist state poses a greater and more immediate threat to the security of our people and the stability of the world than the regime of Saddam Hussein in Iraq," Mr Rumsfeld said.

That could be viewed as saying Iraq is the most threatening of the terrorist states. So in effect Saddam's threat is immediate in comparison to any other evil state.
I think you should also note Bush never said it, he may have tried to imply it but he never actually said it, which I believe is how the whole argument started?

So, still playing at being slow today.

In your earlier post, you claimed Bush called Iraq an "imminent threat" That's what I've asked you to back up.

I know you can't do it, you know you can't do it, and apparently so do most of the other people who post here.

Not "immediate threat", not what a member of the administration said, and not what you feel was implied or insinuated.

A link showing Bush calling Iraq an imminent threat.

Now frankly, I'm going to take pity on you here and end this. It's been kind of like kicking a senior citizen who fell and dropped his walker. Perhaps if you cease from making a claim that is patently false, you'd be better off.

I said Bush said Iraq was a serious and imminent threat. We've established with direct quotes he said Iraq was a serious threat. We've established with direct quotes him saying Iraq could have a nuclear bomb within 6 months. As the dictionary definition of the world "imminent" shows, that's an imminent threat.

We also have the senior member of his administration calling Iraq a serious and immediate threat.

Just let it be luv, you're whipped. Carrying on this nonsense for 5 pages just shows how desperate you really are.
