(Some) Dogs capable of deductive reasoning * 2
    #13939078 -

Also on NOVA last night was a great show on animal intelligence. On one segment, a border collie remembered the names of a thousand stuffed toys. Ten toys were picked at random out of the pile by Degrasse (the host, not the owner) and hidden from human view so no non-verbal cues could be picked up.

The collie was then asked to find the toy by name which it did quickly and without hesitation. One of the hidden toys was a Darwin doll which the dog had never seen before. When told to "Go find Darwin," the dog looked at each of the toys twice and then picked the unfamilar one - a clear case of deductive reasoning.

Soon I am hoping to get my gf to respond to "Go get Heineken..."

Amazing how intelligence differs isn't it.

Also amazing how when one isn't concerned with the unconcernable one can use mind power to grasp amazing things.

In the beginning there was a word and the word was God.... before we evolved there was one belief and that belief was how everything is connected and is together looked at as one thing.

Amazing how our brains can grasp God. How we are able to understand the concept of God but still concern ourselves over is God exists or if everything is a probable causation reaction.

Even electrons in their constant state produce things that are not graspable by thinking in a constant format with what is reality and omnipotent.

The fact is that all the answers lay in front of us for all to see, that is why the dog doesn't concern itself over it. It understands what it is designed to grasp/understand.

It is designed to understand that all things are connected by 1 and one is equal to everything. Everything is created by nothing, and nothing does exist as more then a concept, therefore everything created itself. Thus proving why probability seems to be part of the whole Omniverse, when in fact probability is created by probability.

Which means the probability of a probability in any fashion is equal to a chance between 0 and 1 which proves we were created. Which is what the dog understands.

The dog understands that the unity of everything was created because a chance horizon can only be set into motion by a chance happening or a change not happening. The dog understands we are all ruled by the origin. And can not help our destination except by pushing on and not letting the reactionary chain of death take over our consciousness.

There is only to be or not to be, and that is the question which your mind works through everyday to come to a conclusion against death and with life.

We are ruled in every way possible, our destiny has already been chosen for us. Don't let the reaction of chain events get to you, it is beautiful, the dog sees it, why don't you?

Now put your mind and body to work and make something beautiful happen everyday you exist. You have the power to be changed by people who are predestined to be who they are.

Just like I am predestined to create this post. The reactions whether the reactions make me post or not, so it seems like I am capable of choosing, but my mind has already been set to make something for all to understand by misunderstandings.

Read and misunderstand because understanding rarely means you are listening to the levels on which I speak.

Animal intelligence is truly a fascinating thing.  Check out this video where chimps beat humans at a memory task:

I think we're just coming to realize that we were never really all that special to begin with.

It doesn't matter to me.

If we actually ever do we might start treating our world with a little more care. I'm not holding my breath.

Apparently logic doesn't require a mammalian brain either...

See my shadow changing,
Stretching up and over me.
Soften this old armor.
Hoping I can clear the way
By stepping through my shadow,
Coming out the other side.
Step into the shadow.
Forty six and two are just ahead of me.

Understanding on that scale is not gonna happen in my lifetime, so neither am I.
