dolphin secrets

The discussion about shrooms and telepathy makes me think of how this could be related to dolphins. I've heard that dolphins have telepathic abilities, and I believe that they're functioning on a higher level then us. I believe that after feeling their presence and mood extremely strongly at my first and only encounter with them (it was extraordinarily intense, I've never felt like that except when tripping a few years later. Ever get that feeling that you must cry because everything is so perfect?). I'm convinced that they have a lot to teach us, but since we can't talk with them, maybe hallucinogens could be the tool that nature provided to help this problem. To broaden our conciousness enough to start communicating with dolphins. I can't wait to trip with one, I know it'll be really beautiful if nothing else. And the dolphin might have a good time too if they're telepathic LOL!.

John C. Lilly did some excellent work(imo) with dolphins including their telekinetic propensities, i think the main book he published on the subject was called "Mind of the Dolphin"(could be wrong about that) :smile:

I didn't know there were books on this subject! I remembered my experience when I was reading an article about how dolphins can heal people, it was what it felt like, healing! I'm deffinitely going to read that book, thanks for your tip  :smile:!

based on the fact i know nothing about dolphins, i cant really think that they are telepathic.

i mean they have the echolocation and i guess they can tell eachother a few things but i thinking dolphins mainly just body language and clickyclicky n shit.

I don't know about Dolphin Telepathy but it has been proven that the Dolphins brain in relation to Body size is roughly the same as a humans..perhaps even bigger. This would suggest that they are at least just as "intelligent" as man...

There's even a reference on taking acid with whales, I really didn't expect to find anything about that! It's in the Vortex section, "Ask the master", but I doubt you missed that :wink: 

I don't know much about dolphins either, I even tend to think sometimes, that the telepathy is about them being really good at reading facial expressions. I'm not all sceptical though, I wouldn't denie that there can be some sort of "supernatural" communication. Maybe not thought transmission but feeling transmission of some sort. I don't know how else to explain what happened to me. Has anyone read about how gurus affect their surroundings positively while meditating? It could be something similar.

Oh comeon! You mean to tell me none of you know the truth about dolphins? I thought Douglas Adams settled that years ago!
Basically, dolphins are members of a highly advanced, super intelligent race of beings from another planet. Some of their more adventerous individuals actually manipulated humans into providing them with these luxurious heated pools where they could be safe from preditors and eat all the free fish they wanted while they studied the humans up close.
I thought everybody knew that! Sheesh, what do they teach you kids in school these days?

Dang! I somehow left out a sentance in the middle of that post above.
It was supposed to tell how the dolphin scientists came to Earth to specifically study the human race.
Does it make more sense now?
