This is all just talk and speculation IMO. It's old shit played out over and over and over, year after year here.

Just because someone in a long robe with a beard on a video says something you believe it? And then you expect us to.

And by the way nobody has been flaming you. We just don't agree with what you say.

I expect nothing of you, i don't judge anyone or anything. (i at least try not to!)

I beleive in what i beleive in, others teachings have helped cement my faith, otherwise id probably believe they were just crazy thoughts of grandeur. I now realise its the most humbling thoughts a being can have, completely unselfish.

I did not search, then experience, i experienced, then searched.

Understand that i don't beleive anything unless i experience it first hand, why should i?

Im not a brainwashed hippy, i was very sceptical and cycnical about everyhting i ever came into contact with, for 19 years of my life, this very same scepticism made me stare myself in the eye and find the truth behind life, it is now my purpose to share it with as many as people as possible through love.

I dont expect anything of anyone except to be themselves, all i ask is ask yourself who you are behind the name and ego...

So what you're saying is (just like fivepointer) you are over here proselytizing for your religious beliefs.

Well fuck that shit, is all I can say. This is not your little religious forum for you to pontificate on. Please take it to the Pub.

I have had enlightenment, did you feel a slight pressure at the top of your head when you had clarity? its apparently the crown chakra. I know who i am underneath the censors, for over 2 years i have had nothin but love for everything, and everything in that video is what i have been feeling, it's all truth, and truth is what i seek for that is the path to warmness and love. When i walk outside i feel connected to everything around me, and when i see something unnatural i know it off the bat. oh and when i start to feel negative shit inside me like when i start to fall back into the mindset we are all taught, i can stop it before it gets bad. It's a great way of living i highly recommend it

This guy speaks the truth. Although if I hadn't spent a lot of time learning about these subjects I can easily imagine how I would view this as bullshit. The stereotypical Indian in a robe with jesus music playing in the background doesn't help much. I prefer people who at least seem a little more down to earth.

No, he's not.

Chronic is just stating his beliefs, and is looking to see how other peoples beliefs either coincide or conflict with his. He doesn't care what you believe he just wants to know what you believe.

I think Chronic is still trying to solidify his faith by examining other peoples beliefs.

I personaly couldn't listen to much of that guy, the accent was too think and I'm not too much in the mood to listen closely.

Well, I for one have a problem with any other mortal who sells himself under the false pretenses of

Bhagavan Kalki Avatar,

but that's simply because having studied Kalachakra I seem to understand the basis for the Kalki myths,

and so I find him really far fetched.

You know, a major way of seeling a package is to have one sellable concept which works and then to package it with lots of other things. I guess we all are aware of how that's done with MS Windows.

Later it's impossible to sort out what you have and decide which things which you don't like which you may not buy again, but you can't get rid of them.

I know because I was in the TM Movement for some 20 years. So I am speaking from experience.

As for you woo woo types who get this diksha and your lives are all perfectly hunky dory, now that's a load of it, and you know it.

im not a "woo woo" kind of person, or any kind of person for that matter. I know exactly what you are talking about with having almost Bait, if you will, to attract people to buying it with other bullshit. People lie to themselves all the time like that. What i do believe, is there is a genuine feeling that comes from enlightenment and like they say, "life is what you make of it", I'll pick which truths i want, like cherry's, and combine them to make my own truth pie... all the while staying down to earth and keeping clarity, so im not TOTALLY swindled. Same shit with conspiracies, 9/11 shit may be true, but all the weird shit they package with it kinda is stupid

Re: Enlightenment? [Re: Chronic7]

I think this is a useful description of a state of mind that is possible to reach. The bulk of what he's saying is that thoughts distort sense perception. The part about "this is what we were designed for" is a reckless assumption IMO, but achieving the "enlightened" perspective is not always synonymous with being completely logical...and if you write off everything someone says because of lapses in logic, you can miss out.

One of the most important realizations I've made on drugs is that we can interpret sensations in whatever way we choose. This clear separation between sensations and thoughts is something that I've observed over and over again in meditation since I came to that understanding. It becomes apparent that you can associate or dissociate different thoughts with any particular sensation in the body even those that are normally characterized as "painful" or "uncomfortable". People don't normally recognize this though because if you're not paying close attention, thoughts and sensations are all tangled up, associated through habit.

The process of reassociation or disassociation takes a long time because we've formed so many strong associations covering such a wide variety of circumstances. It's not enough to see that logically a sensation is just that. Habitual thoughts will come into your mind unless you've trained yourself through lots of practice to avoid them. These ideas are nothing new...they're matter of fact in Buddhist traditions.

The key to turning life into "Heaven" is breaking down your experience into sensations rather than having recurring compulsive thoughts that turn experience into high level abstractions (e.g. "drive to work, complete task A, drink coffee, go to the bathroom, ...") and forming long-term high-level goals based on what you think is best for yourself.

Its nice to see some agree and some disagree, its all perfect as it is, there no rush the best thing i can do bring the light into others lives is live it myself, lol that sounds so cliche!

I doubted everything for almost 20 years of my life also, and my life was filled with nothing but doubt and running away from everything.

I feel no need to further cement my faith, it is solid!
All i feel is i need to further integrate it into my life, ive been asleep for 20 odd years....awakening takes a while...

Whats ive come to realise is if your cycnical, you will be cycnical, if your angry you will be angry, if you love, your life will be filled with love, understanding of everything and peace.

I know what id prefer.

Everyhting ive come to realise is from opening my heart to the Buddha nature within everyhting.

Nothing is everything, everything is nothing.

I agree largely with the first indian guy
did not listen to the other western guy because he looks too much like a dentist.
anyway
dentists really do bring this all to a head as it were.
senses have to be unchained from behind thought, or secondary;
and thought has to be restored to its natural importance of equal with any other sense.

i like to refer to thought or memory as a sense.
we need to encourage a gentle rotation and dance of emphasis among our senses to have a balanced trip.
dentists make me think of pain which is an exaggerated or over intensified sensation.
and when we are screwed up in thinking and only thinking, it is like pain, an exaggerated sensation of thinking, or suffering too much memory...

The way i see it, its not really erasing the mind as Sri Bhagavan says sometimes, its freeing the mind from unecessary attachments that delude us from the ultimate reality.

The mind and thoughts are beautiful things, the way i see it is the mind is the door between man & god, attachment locks it. So think away, think hard & strong but have the ability to relinquish attachment to thoughts.
