I went vegan for about a month and a half...towards the end, I felt so...'passive.'  I don't know if it was just a psychosomatic effect or just in my head or what, but it unnerved me, so I went back to my carnivore lifestyle and now I feel great.  Grrr...me devour flesh.  Me become strong.

Though I'll have to add that most women don't enjoy themselves because they're confused, a confusion created by this standard model society endlessly gravitates in.
Most of people men and women just assume their role they've been given through the media. Men want to have money and expensive cars to make women want them and women think that their ultimate goal is to have a man like that by their side.
None of them really enjoy themselves because obviously something big is missing from their lives but they just can't seem to put their finger on it.
It takes a lot of hard times and agonies until one discovers who he or she is. It can take for more then a lifetime to do that.
So until them women accept to be treated like pieces of meat and sexual objects.
It's hard to see themselves more that just that since they have no idea that can be so much more.
I met a lot of men who tried to treat me as a sexual object and when I wanted to reveal that I also have a mind and that "strange thing" called personality I got disastrous responses like "you're a woman and you're not allowed to have a personality"
It's really sad to see how most women accept that shit and deny the fact that they can also have a brain...

Firstly, I do not believe the media has that much influence, and, secondly, your statement is such an unsubstantiated generalization that it needs to be revealed as such. Please change it to, at the very least, "some men want", and "some women think".

You make it seem as though you are speaking with absolute terms when doing so makes your statements false.

The most recent thing I assisted to was a few days ago when I went to visit a friend of mine who started to tell me how this guy she liked called her and she thought he was very attractive, only she was disappointed by the fact that he was poor, Which of course made her turn her back on him. The reason? She said that she couldn't be with someone who can't afford to buy her presents, take her too expensive holidays and so on. And then her looks aren't going to last forever and she has to use this limited time the best way possible because she doesn't wants to end up old, with two kids and poor.

You could just as easily say the modern object objectifies itself.    All form, even the form of the human body and the complex form of the human mind, is transient, but while its here as a part of your reality with which you interact, it is an object.  The question as I see it is whether to treat that object as an isolated entity, to be used and discarded or ignored, or to treat it as interconnected and common with all other objects, something to be cherished and valued in and of itself or at least acknowledged as having the right to exist even if some aspect of it is seemingly at odds with your own reality (e.g. a person you find particularly annoying and obstructive of your goals); this goes for men, women, plants, animals, insects, chairs, food, books, etc.
