Oh sorry for not elaborating. I mean mainly in america not all women. They were given the chance for complete equality. The only problem was that this meant they could be drafted in a war. Preference over complete equality was choosen which im glad about.

Probably in your little mind they are objects, and that means you are not getting any. Or maybe that is how you consider your mom. Or maybe how she is consider in your town. :shake:

That is my theory.

well im hopeing you just happened to missue the quick reply button like most absent minded users of this forum.

Although if you didnt i said i dont think women are objects. The only two things i have left which i love are my girlfriend and my mini schnuaser. I treat women as equals and i do respect them. If anything i give them preference. So dont make retarded observations when you dont know crap about me you stupid fuck.

As obvious as it is to me that this was some attempt at sarcastic humour, it's not particularily funny.

I guess some of my principles are old fashioned but when i actually do get married and have kids i would expect my wife to stay home and look after the kids

Women are individuals as are men with individual needs, pleasures, values, etc and staying at home and looking after the kids is for some women and for others eg. a genius mathematician like my mum or anyone with a special talent, or need to contribute to society, they like to work. Stopping an individual from doing that is oppression. and, psst... not respecting that women are individuals is sexism.

Re. the army, going on the individual difference line again, some women are emotionionally and physical stronger than some men and I think if a woman wants to be in the defense force, that should be decided on an individual basis.

Mixamotosis women are humans not objects. The media may market them as such though. But this attitude contributes to female oppression in areas such as work and in the home, and to sexual objectification and rape.

Computer games don't affect kids. I mean if Pacman affected our generation as kids, we'd all be running around in a darkened room, munching pills and listening to repetitive electronic music.

"As for equal rights where have you been? Women were given the chance for equal rights and they choose preference."

A social change such as gender equality is not the kind of thing that happens in a few decades. It's the kind of change that takes several centuries to take hold. In case you didn't know, the number of women working in traditionally male jobs is still on the rise. In a few more generations, equality might become reality.

We got from where we were in the 50s to where we are now in a much shorter space of time; in fact most of that change has been in the last 10 years (at the behest of the male-dominated financial oligarchy). If this trend continues, we will have at least reached parity with men by the end of Bush's second term (which is not to say that a female will necessarily be appointed POTUS in 2008).

However, i strongly disagree with the feminist concept of "equality" in terms of money, power, and revenge. A few Margaret Thatchers and Carly Fiorinas sitting alongside the men on the fascist power circles wont produce equality, gender or otherwise. It is precisely because of this mentality that we remain objects, if not of male sexuality then of the corporate greed and bloodlust of which men are also objects.

I think women are aliens. or perhaps in the spirit world they're just from some crazy woman-island that no one knows much about.

that's where I'd guess that feeling comes from.
