Help Identifying please (Sandy/gresham oregon)
    #3244375 - 10/11/04 06:14 PM (19 years, 5 months ago)

Ok so I went hunting earlier to not much avail, found a few different mushrooms, none that I thought were active. My camera's batteries are charging, Im gonna put up a couple pictures for a couple I was hoping to have ID'd.

But anyway I was walking to my door and noticed these fellows right next to my walkway so I took the camera and snapped the last shot before it died. I thought they looked similar to libs but I dont know as I havent ever seen one in person. Anyway Im taking a spore print now, they are a bit slimy on the top it seems. These were found in the sandy/gresham area in Oregon.
The other ones that I will post pics of in a while were also found in the area, in a foresty type area, its very moist and tons of dead tree stuff on the ground.

Anyway if anyone has any clue what they are I would appreciate it, I doubt they are active but Im still learning and so far this is fun

They look like some sort of Mycena.

I'd bet Josh is right. I see a lot of those while looking for liberty caps and from a distance they can fool you for a bit.

Gill color was probably a transparent purple color?
