i am now masturbating.

ive seen lawn flushes like that on my own lawn before and i gotta say, you can throw one wicked party
i once took a 1/2 dried lb of those and split it 6 ways for a hard-to swallow massive group dosage of communal thinking and loss of reality.
throw a party. take pictures of the party and post them.
and keep a trip journal of evrything that happens no matter how unfun it might be at the time.
that would be nice

GSA- I really really enjoy the subb trip. When I ate them fresh the first time, I ate alot, and went on a pretty strong level 3. It was very very nice..a great body high, with very vivid, beautiful visuals. Enjoy!!

Do you have any references for P. olivaceus. I found that the species is sometimes grouped w/ Panaeolina. This would indicate to me a brown sporeprint and roughened spores.

From Erowid
Panaeolus olivaceus F.H. M?ller (it is sometimes confused as a synonym of P. castaneifolius, see that)

Panaeolus castaneifolius (Murrill) A.H. Sm. (= ? P. olivaceus F. H. M?ller; Panaeolina castaneifolia (Murrill) Bon; P. castaneifolia (Murrill) Ew. Gerhardt, this latest seems the true name, see Gerhardt, 1996)

What characteristics would set this species apart from subbs? I do recall looking at the pic of Panaeolus castaneifolius in Stamets book, Psilocybin Mushrooms of the World, and determining from the pic that I was collecting a different species.

I was referring to P. olivaceus as far as not knowing what charactreistics to look for. I brought up Panaeolus castaneifolius because when I searched for olivaceus I found a cross reference for castaneifolius.

I left a message w/ a mycology prefessor here at OSU. Hopefuly he will call back soon. I will try borrow a microscope tomorrow.

Can't wait...for the results...I mean I know for sure some of the prints I sent you are subbs...but the others, very curious.

Cheers

Thanks a lot! Where did you obtain your standard?

I read a bit on subbs in Stamets book. He mentioned that the subb species varies a bit in its habitat and its appearance, I believe he suggests that the subb specie is either a dynamically characterised specie or that there are actually several very closely related species grouped into the subb specie name. This would account for the difference in macroscopic appearances of subb collections through out the world.

And Mr. Mush you r the shit on you IDing skills. Joshua made some tea tonight and he said he felt something, very mild but it wa nice, But then again Joshua has quit a tolerance. but he thinks that the potency in the fruits over each flush mlght get stronger. That or we will be takin madd doses, wich i dont mine as long as they are in tea form.......................peace

I had noticed this too about potency, the very first flush seemed weaker than subsequent flushes...cheers.
