I'm an elegant mutherfucker...yo!!!

What kind of personal input do you have to argue for the ID of these specimens to be P. olivaceus. I don't have my ID books w/ me to read the characteristics of the aforementioned species, but I am %99.9 sure these are subbs.

Pics to follow very shortly that should help to rest any doubt regarding the Id of these specimens.

Mr_Mushrooms, the color enhancement is a type of plugin. it also comes default with most of the better photo editing aplications (i'm using MGI PhotoSuite). it basical replaces dark gray values with the coresponding light gray values while preserving any all black or all whight values.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it.
If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

OMG!!!!!!! This is crazy. We went back last night to take some pics and havest a few good ones, and here is our Final Feature...............

They were phucking every where .

This is a beautiful culsterfuck. you can see very young one to very mature fruits. I love how ther almost formed a ring.

We were gizzing in our pant every minite of it.

My favorite shot of the night.

It took a little over two hours to pick what we have. We came back with roughly about a quarter pound(dry) of them. We could barely fit them on three window sized screens, and no the little screens a that. Joshua will be posting a new post on the havest, and the new ones to come. I really hope you enjoyed this post as much as i have..............................peace out ?till next time

Great shots! Yes those certainly are new lawn sprinkler system loving subbs. Congrats...was waiting for someone else to find them too.

Cheers

RIP Matt, your friendship and your contributions to the world of fungi will be missed. Unfortunately we never got to hunt together.

Very good find dude. I love finding subbs in mass amounts. They seem to like it here in NY. A 1/4lb dry is quite a bunch!! I love the pan subb trip..have a good time!!!

p.s- Anyone know why the subbs in Oregon look so dissimilar to the subbs here in NY?!?

Hey there,

Well, they look right (they are about the color of the horse poo tea I made) and there sure are a lot of those subb umbrellas...heheh! Very interesting..they probably used manure when they were working around those grassy areas!! Real fine Earth bounty you guys received...enjoy.

Best regards,

King Bolete

Hey there,

Finding those is just about as good as getting a freebie pack of 5 varieties of beans straight from Breeder Stever in Lugano. Those look great!

Best regards,

King Bolete
