hey all im a new shroomer, and am extremely interested in shroom hunting, ive been a couple of times most with minimal success, i did however find one amanita but thats the extent. just wondering if anyone would be so kind as to fill me on on any secrets or tricks to finding a some good shrooms. perhaps a group or click of people that get togerhter and hunt around my area. i live in between sandy and gresham oregon. lots of cow pastures out here if that heple at all.
i just want a lil advice of somesort to make me more successfull in my hunting.

Learn habitat. When hunting mushrooms, look for the habitat the mushrooms you're looking for grow in.

Get out in the woods (or whatever). The best way to learn about your local mushrooms is to go out and find some and study them.

Get a good book on mushroom identification. For the Oregon area I'd recommend Mushrooms Demystified by David Arora. Read it. Study it.
