It's finally cool enough we have the fans off (so far) today, and I was like " dang I did all my SAB stuff yesterday!" - but every day is a good day to pour a sleeve, then I remembered I had some Transkei spores I haven't germinated, and might as well make a syringe, and if I do that might as well nocc a couple of PF cakes, and if I'm going to do that might as well stick a swab in a BRF puck. So just about to load up the SAB on this day I had nothing to do.

Yes, that's my SAB. I absolutely needed something that collapses, and this fits the bill perfectly. I don't have a tek on it, but did write about it in the Post Your New Tools thread.

I fucking love this thing. Just finished pouring and doing my spore work and it's behind the couch now! :thumbup:

Awesome, man. I think it's a really great idea—I was actually thinking about adapting a cardboard box to make a SAB, but I wasn't sure if it would work. Now I know it does.

If you've been getting consistent results with it, I think you should write a guide on how to build it. If I had found it when I was starting out, I definitely would've gone with your setup.

Two tubs of Albino Country Cock





A very slow Charlie Brown mini cake, inoculated with leftover g2g spawn. Not sure if its the PE, or the bag that it is in, but they are not wanting to open up caps.



And some Wild Australian Murbah, two shrooms have shown this interesting bell pheno, so they are getting printed.

So I've heard cows easily consume cubes n the spores mate in its stomach n when shat out after enough time it's pH is balanced n broken down enough to be processed by the cubes.

Was wondering if I fed a cow some enigma would it possibly create some enigma patches?

Should I buy a cow :smug:

@bloodssonnew: That's not very likely for the Enigma.

As far as I understand, it's not directly eating Cubensis mushrooms, but rather, spores getting on the grass the cows eat.

They have four stomachs that digest the grass, but its only at 40C in temperature inside. IT's mild enough for spores to survive, and once the cows poop, the spores are already in its ideal substrate, naturally pasteurized and broken down.

They don't seem to colonize inside of the cow, or we would see large amounts of mycelium in their digestive track from time to time. Its only there for 3 days tops.

Since Enigmas don't produce spores, I doubt it would work.

Now, adding spore prints to the water trough the cows drink from? Apparently the way to go.

Some second flush of what I presume to be either yeti or PE. The other one I have never ended up fruiting while the other tubs did so I recessed along with the others and I see primordia again so hopefully we’ll see some fruits this time

Been a little lazy but finally did a clean-up/harvest to keep it rolling. Seems like I'm getting more 'normal' lookin pins now. But wow there were some really strange and cool ones. One looked almost like a miniature brain coral where it's like an inside out cap
