Haven't posted in a while here, but I finally got some fruits from B+ which is my first time with another variety besides blue magnolia. The ones on the left were B+ and the ones on the right were blue mags. Got a few yeti and apes that should be pinning soon and some toque as well.

AHHHHH.... Boo pinhead mold, great advice, throw some recycled soil over that sucker in a pot, in the shade on the ground, water it thoroughly, who knows, or back to the earth compost style.

I gotchu broseph, it happens to us all... eventually the mold wins sometimes doing this enough.  Here's a tray that I lost last night, went to case it and... NOPE no go.  I sent it outside in a 12qt tub, see what happens, but I don't need it, just to see... the possibility!!  I like playing outside!  :laugh:



Clean culture, plenty of air, it be what it be playin' with these... Pans.

 

1/16th holes, no suffocation or anything, 9/10 will work, Lets go meal prep trays!

I’ve used rice (gross) and rye berries before millet.

Just used regular no prep millet before the switch to red proso millet. Still followed the exact no prep tek for the red.

I wanted to switch to red just to take the guessing game out of millet. I think I would let my jars sit for too long unsure if they colonized or not. The red I see where I’m at for sure.

I wanna say the red was faster BUT I 1) can’t say for sure and 2) I took 1/4 of 90mm plates to each jar and it was already a super aggressive yeti clone I had.
