It helps.  I started storing in mylar picnic bags to reduce condensation with no pours and still use it.

Tax, three hearts but one is super out of focus.

I meant unused plates.

Not sure how light would affect plate colonization with most species we work with.  Lion's mane I colonize in the dark throughout the whole life cycle up until fruiting, because light is a pinning trigger for them.

I was hoping the insulated bag would help with that more. But my condensation has been about the same. Storing vertically at least keeps any pooling to one area of the plate.

Looks like I’ve managed to get a mutant albino BV from my regular Bluey Vuitton LC.

If I swiped spores from the mature cap will it produce albino BV? Or does it need stabilised? Planning on swiping spore and cloning it

Ok, I would think being insulated from temp changes would help the condensation. I’ve been having an issue myself with it. I’m starting to store plates vertically and like you say, at least they are pooling and I can see the plates now. I have to now either build a rack or get one of those pocket style things you hang on a door. Preferably I’d like something like a dish rack built for petri dishes.

This is all new to me! Have no clue what I’m doing, but they are growing. I think I have to eventually thin these and only leave one per cell? How do I know which to pull?

Got medical and legal happening at once, I hope and pray everybody is doing Uber fantastic, lovely stuff tree frog - I'm starting my pan ind AIO tubs tomorrow, mycelium is strong on that one - I watched it overthrow a spot of green/grey contam in one of the plates, I've kept it for science - I'll take photos. IOU for the AIO awesomeness :mushroom2:

I also need to start preparing the garden because the weather is supposed to warm up next week, but instead I'm waiting for my Jack Frost to sprout because the primodia have already covered the entire substrate and it looks like I'm having winter in the middle of spring.
