Those cakes are VERY dry, mostly because there's too few cakes in each chamber.  I would have all of those cakes in one tub.  You want them PACKED in, then they will fruit well.


I’ll put everything into the smaller (upper) tub. It can’t hurt at this point.  I live in a very dry area.  I’ve been misting once per day and have been able to maintain about 90% humidity in the water tub.  Thanks for the advice.

messed up a couple things making these jars but they look good and smell good I think, so a couple days and I'm sending

I tried plins in cryovials, they turned pitch black :shrug:
Just revived AA+ from cryo, found out that just dipping the syringe needle in the previously shaken water and agar - not even touching the agar wedge - and touching the agar plate was enough to bring it to life :rockon: let's see if I get away with using the same cryovial multiple times

im definitely gnna try that at some point. my place is super tiny so anything i can easily fold up....  i fold up

Built a jcm chamber today.  Got my semps in there for now but it’s for pans I’m planning on fruiting.  Got some MiB germin in plates.  Excited

niice! are you running this in a large room? curious how it will affect humidity in the grow area. i had to ditch my ultrasonic setup bc i started to notice condensation and ultimately mold around the sills of my windows

I don’t think it’ll do that.. it’s kinda like the equivalent of a small fish tank in the room.  Ultrasonic is definitely more intense than air stones.. at least that’s my take on it.  I haven’t heard of it being an issue in all the threads I’ve read

Still dialing it in and experimenting with my environment. Harvested these iceberg blobs today. Did 2 trays. Both were lightly covered at spawn and allowed to colonize through. Once knots formed, I added bubble wrap casing to one and a light casing to the other. Here are the results. The bubble wrap took off like crazy. These blobs were absolutely nuclear. I would describe them as dental work for the soul. It was rough and uncomfortable, but very much needed work. Felt great after.
