He is a eugenicist who hates trans people. He has a lot of traits of extreme narcissism.

He acts as a figure for authoritarianism in the technology sector.

He is of a particular brand of futurism that seeks to create a massive population of braindead idiots, who can slave away in factories, or die in pointless conflicts, to improve his overall bottom line.

People were making fun of him online, so he purchased one of the most profitable companies on earth, re-named it after a letter, and tanked it's value into the garbage can.

He definitely is a stupid person's idea of a smart person. Just like Trump is a poor person's idea of a rich person.

Basically, yeah.  The initially carefully constructed public persona of his built mostly via the association between the company name Tesla and that of the actual scientist’s, plus being a dork for space, and a number of other well timed marketing & advertising ploys was enough to pull the wool over the eyes of enough people by letting their minds fill in the blank favorably for him.  Luckily, he purchased Twitter at an absurd price and then made the grievous error of posting…and that’s all she wrote.  :twocents:

I’ve always thought he was a douche. I’m not sure where this idea that the left loved elon. I don’t think the left thought anything specific about Elon. Maybe he was popular with some lefties because he made electric cars, but everyone I knew who had a Tesla was a right winger even ten years ago. He’s a billionaire, so you know a significant part of of the left has always hated him. Even the more billionaire friendly part of the left only like the billionaires who giving away their money, not actively accruing more and more.

He has always given me creepy, Dr. Evil vibes. Then I learned about the way he treats employees. Then he started complaining about paying taxes. Boo fucking hoo. Then he ignored covid restrictions at his plants. The 11 children with five different women. He’s exactly who I’ve always thought he was, even when others were fooled. I feel vindicated

The craziest musk story I’ve heard is the time he wanted to know who was leaking internal memos to the press, so he sent each employee a slightly different memo so when it got leaked he would know the source.

Isn’t it just kind of ridiculous though. Just saying what Donald Trump has been saying out loud. When you’re not a Republican saying that to a Republican. They will say you are hysterical. Just trying to describe what they’ve been saying out loud. Maybe even using a quote.

It’s that unhinged. At the same time, he keeps ratcheting up the intensity and insanity of what he’s saying. The rhetoric keeps becoming more and more extreme.

I guess we just can’t pay any attention or mention any of it. That would mean that we’re hysterical.

Hey in San francisco,  the gay,lesiben, call cise as a slur, same as when they call straight men as breeders.

They should be able to say that.  Also I'm all for the purge. Why die of old age when you can be on a list of casualties.

Then you could ban everyone who "call cis a slur".

That's a normal reaction when people don't like you. Just purchase the environment and kick them out.

Nothing proves your ideas are correct like silencing other people with money.

The only thing that makes "cis a slur" is the behavior and mindset of many cisgender people.

What they don't like is that it is a label they didn't get to pick for themselves.

Well as a trans person my life is an ocean of labels, I didn't pick, and I don't agree with.

They want to get rid of the dichotomy of "Cis and Trans", and abolish the words.

Then they can use their preferred labels of "regular people and freaks".

It's about policing other people's language, to shape reality in a way that favors your perspectives.

The same people who cry like a fucking baby when I call them cis, refuse to use my preferred pronouns, because of their "rights".

Conservatism is the most disfigured version of freedom imaginable.

"Everyone has the freedom to look like me and be like me! Everyone has the freedom to be a Christian moron, or they have the freedom to be socially tortured and forced out of society for "choosing to be different than me!"

The only thing conservatives hate more than personal freedom, is the idea of other people being allowed to have choices.

Because even the top 10 richest people combined can by San francisco. Silicone valley store lots of money and controls media,  search engines,  the cloud. 

I do believe in free speech.  100% and that bs about yelling fire in a theater is a bullshit example that isn't illegal at all.  I also think you of all people would like to keep speech free . Lama
