You know, if you actually listen to these people, actually talk, you will hear that what they want is not a wall, or security, or "Law and Order", or a stable economy, or any of that shit.

What they want is cruelty. The primary motivating drive for these people is cruelty.

They are authoritarians, and they love the idea of a powerful, monolithic, authority figure, hurting people who are different than them.

That's about the depth of trumpian politics.

They have an extreme hatred of people who differ from them, physically, socially, spiritually, interpersonally, economically, and they are programmed to think that two people cannot be different without also being at war.

They want to see the government acknowledge their fantasy of superiority, and systematically punish EVERYONE who is not a cis het white Christian money having god believer with a tyrant complex.

They want a "benevolent dictator", but they cannot understand that this is an inherent contradiction in terms.

It's an extension of their desire to remove discussion and co-operation from human life and make everything 100% compliance by force, with no room for personal latitude or evolution.

If you look at conservative policies and ideas, they are just extensions of supremacy, the removal of personal choice from life, the removal of the individual (IE the idea that the "family", "religion", "nation", or "corporation" is the "primary unit of society").

Insecurity = fear = hatred = cruelty = MAGA

The funniest part about the wall rhetoric is that walls keep people in as well as out. The notion that it wouldn’t be used as one more tool to clamp down on US citizens is baffling to me.
