4oz.  Ziran 2023 PFTek suggests 4oz or 8oz.  I’m realizing now that 4oz is perfect for pfpucks, inadequate for pfcakes.

And thanks for the suggestion!  Once these bits have soaked I’ll treat em like grain, mix 1:1 with coir, toss in a shoebox, put on a casing layer, and see how it goes.

Sadly there are few cakes who suffer from bacteria (in the midst of the cake) so that the mycelium grows around it. Lets wait for 2 more weeks.

In the future if your insecure, wait for 10 days after its all white fluffy mycelium then cut a cake in halft.

Every single jar I've made have had that much condensation, both from the vendor syringe and from the home made syringe that I made from a spore print from the mushrooms I got from the vendor syringe.

Wont it get worse the longer you wait if it's contaminated?

Also he said consolidation not condensation, consolidation is the period of time u give it after it has colonized
