The times said the source was someone with legal access. They aren’t publishing the actual documents because it may reveal the source.

I assume the source would be in serious legal jeopardy if their identity was known

Only 750 dollars in income tax for 2016 ? I pay double that every month and then still end up paying at the end of the year .

He’s essentially lied to every bank and creditor he deals with about his true financial situation. He’s highly leveraged with debt that was apparently obtained through bank fraud. This is what the NY state investigation concerns and why trump went all the way to the Supreme Court to prevent those investigators from doing their work.

I can’t believe this loser was elected president. The man is a complete fraud just like anyone with a brain has known for decades

Well turns out trump was telling the truth about one thing. The IRS has been investigating his tax returns since 2010 because of some potentially fraudulent tax credits he received. He’s been under audit and been fighting them for 10 years

There’s some potentially criminal activity, but for the most part he hasn’t paid taxes because he chronically loses money. The dispute with the IRS is about $80 million in refunds he received that he wasn’t entitled to. He’s trying to keep them collecting it plus penalties, totaling $100 million.

He essentially lives off the revenue from his properties, almost all of which have operating loses. And his properties are essentially completely leveraged. A majority of his taxable income in the past decade derives from the value of the loans he’s defaulted on. (If you don’t pay back loans, you have to pay taxes on the unpaid amount)

It seems that trump stays afloat by not paying back loans and uses his buildings to collateralize even more loans which he gets by over valuing those properties.

The revenue from his businesses are fairly paltry 20-30 million a year. And like I said, most of his taxable income is due to his unpaid loans, not from his businesses. And almost every year his taxable income is offset completely by loses.

Look up ELOCs, or equity lines of credit.

If you play it right, you can basically set up a ponzi scheme using an initial investment. For example: start with a 100m property, get a bank to give you an ELOC for 50m using the property as collateral, then buy a 50m yacht. Then put that yacht up as collateral for another ELOC worth 25m...

Based on the NYT article about Trump's taxes, that's exactly what he did. Except now he's at the point where his original investments are losing money, his sub-investments (the yacht in my example) are losing money, and the best ELOC he can get is a few hundred thousand dollars, which he then refuses to pay back knowing that the original collateral is worthless.

It’s insane. He just defaults on loans. He doesn’t have to pay them back. How do you do that?

He owes the IRS $72 million and he just refuses to pay and it’s like there’s nothing they can do except negotiate while he stalls. 10 years they’ve been trying to get him to pay. It’s not even money he owed in taxes. It’s a fucking refund he requested, which they sent him without even checking if he was entitled to it.

Except for a couple hustles arranged in corrupt countries, and mar-a-lago, he hasn’t made any money since the apprentice. It appears that he has been a complete failure in running an actual business. The entire trump narrative is fiction. He’s never been a billionaire. His businesses don’t generate anywhere near enough money to build that kind of wealth and his properties are highly leveraged.

We don’t exactly know the value of those assets, but they aren’t anywhere close to the 480 million in debt he currently sitting on. He doesn’t even own a lot of the shit people think of as trump properties. He rents the property where the doral golf course is located, and the trump hotel in DC is leased from the federal government.

I cannot believe this loser was elected president. His supporters are the stupidest fucking people on earth. What an embarrassment.

How has it been "long debunked"?  Can please post your evidence supporting this?

More detail

Wanting to know what the truth is doesn't make one a conspiracy theorist - it's the opposite.

But you don't want them looking at Seth's computer because if they find anything you'll look incredibly stupid.  So you pretend I'm a conspiracy theorist.

If there's one thing I hate more than stupidity, it's make believe.

That's right.  So either the Government didn't care what was on Seth's computer, or they found out it wasn't Russia and wanted to keep it secret.  Either outcome is a bad look for the FBI.
