Just picked the first shroom of my 2nd flush of TOC.
This was the first flush on 28/4.


And this is the second flush today 5/5.

Did you dunk after the first big flush? I've yet to yield a mono, but I've heard of some people doing a large first flush, cutting off any remaining pins (especially if the tub feels light or there is blueing of the mycelium) and dunking for 12hrs. Have also heard of people just misting all the way through, minus the 24hrs before harvest (RR said this). How much spawn and bulk substrate is in your tub?

So I've done a few different rehydrating ways.
The TOC filled with water raised the sub to the top to harvest. Then drained and misted it.

The b+ i only misted pretty heavily.

I use approx. equal parts coir to wbs spawn. I can't remember exactly but i think the b+ was three 300ml jars. Could have been four.

This is the b+ tub now.
Not many pins and the four thick ones developing makes me think it's starting to contam. I've noticed when they grow unusually larger than before that myc is preparing to release spores asap . So it goes all in making big fruits. That's what happened with my very first one.

Have three fresh syringes of Aussie on the way. The monsters in my sig are aussies and I adore them. It's been many years since I've had fun with them and really look forward to this order showing up in a couple days. In the mean time, my Brazilians seem to be doing pretty well. Let you guys know when I'm shooting up my jars with some thunder down under :bigblunt:

Harvest day!
So the third variety of cubes(Cuban) were ready for their first harvest. TOC and jar of b+ were ready too.
Combined all three was 123grams.
Texas Orange cap

Left to right is b+,Cuban,TOC.

I've got three cubes varieties (b+, toc, Cuban)  fruiting and another one in grain ( South African transkei). My toc has trich now after two flushes but i have a new shoebox almost pinning.

I've got two woodlovers on grains ( azies and ps cyans).

No ethnos yet but really keen to get some peyote and san pedro cuttings or seeds to start them.

Ebay has something similar search for
"50x 85ml Plastic Small ROUND Storage Container w Colored Lid 6.5x3.5cm box BULK"
I haven't tested them in a pressure cooker yet ( Still waiting for delivery) and I'm not convinced they aren't going to melt. :frown:
The plastic is nowhere near as good as sistema but they are cheap.

Kmart also has small containers in the anko brand, although they are square and a little larger at 350ml.
Kmart stock is all over the place at the moment, not a mason jar in sight...

This is my Brazilian run in fruiting now. Couple of them may not put out anything, because they didn't get a chance to finish, but we'll see what happens.

Look for containers that have PP5 on them. They can be used in a microwave and a pressure cooker. Many Asian grocers/markets have them because they're used as take away containers that can handle hot food and be re-heated.

If you buy some wide mouth mason jars and synthetic filter discs then they'll last you so many years and you'll be able to see through the glass easily to look for contaminates. There are a few local eBay sellers of mason jars.

I like using aluminium trays.

Where'd you get your B+?

Too bad you're not close to me. I have heaps of trichocereus cacti.

I'm not sure about Spores101 getting out to you guys, cause my bog-ass hasn't lived in Melb for 10 years now.

I grow these ones out of a sense of longing for home I guess.

Taz and Aussies have always done well for me, cause I think they can tell we fam :lol:

Bastard. I envy your easy access to many more things, especially comparatively cheap and easy to get medical marijuana which I need to get for my chronic pain. I don't envy the Canadian cold weather though.

I wish I won the lottery so I could buy a big house with rooms for mycology, tissue culture, growing ethnos etc.

We now have completely legal access to recreational cannabis cross the country actually, so you should really consider a change of address! :wink:

Just walk down to your local shop and load up. Although granted it is by no means cheap.

Weather isn't so bad, depending where you land, pretty much anywhere west of Saskatchewan and slightly south and it's pretty reasonable.

Just don't go to Calgary lmao :rolleyes:

We live in a nice rowhouse brick flat and have the third room as an office/mycozone. It's a little cramped, but really not bad for the space we have. Nice to be able to use a garage finally to do that actual build work and mess makin.

I'll keep posting as I progress on some of these beauts for ya and I hope I can do them justice :fishsmack:

The b+ was one of my first prints i recieved from the market place. I think the guy was from cali. Its been a pretty decent fruiter.

Do you have any trich seeds atm?

Nah but you'd be able to easily find people who have cuttings in NSW. Are you a member of any local ethno forums?

Do you continue to make your own clean prints and syringes from the B+?
