Depends what you mean by evidence. If you made an anynomous claim that the guy next door is working on a truck bomb they would probably raid his house without "evidence" - consequences of inaction are one consideration for law enforcement.

Which brings me back to the Bidens case - the serious consequences of ignoring a possible corruption at the highest level of executive power lower the bar for investigative action.

  Why did he pay ?
  Are people who are innocent of fraud the ones who are usually ordered to pay ?

Your right , he just committed fraud and bought his innocence .
  That’s actually more disgusting to me than doing the crime and paying the time . That’s literally the reason I hate rich people .
  Oh well at least he was held accountable for the fraud he committed , . Allot of people want to make believe he didn’t even do anything .

  I just find it hard to take people seriously when they act all worried about Biden’s son getting money from Ukraine while we have a president that strolled into the job while being involved in 3500 lawsuits . How many of those do you think are related to fraud ?
