The media didnt convince me trump is an idiot.  Not recently nor in the past did the media convince me.  Trump himself convinced me he is a liar, a cheat, a deadbeat, and an idiot more than 30 years ago, Fal.

Having said that he does have an ability to manipulate people to get what he wants.  He has an ability to tap into the emotions of a crowd when that crowd wears their emotions on their sleeves.  And he has an ability to connect with a certain kind of person with whom he has little to nothing in common and likely holds contempt for, while making them feel as though he gives half a shit for them.  Sometimes I even think he does give half a shit about them, but then I remember that he only cares about their adoration, not for them as people.

All things considered, he's a despicable person IMO and no, the media didnt make that assessment for me.
