This implies not all people are equal. Which would be why you want to keep them out right? What reason do we have for borders exactly? Besides racism

You know, it’s more than just Mexicans that are illegally entering the US via the southern boarder, don’t you?  Why do you single out Mexicans?  Do you have any reason outside of racism against Mexicans for singling them out?

What makes you think "people are equal"?

Cultures are not equal, religions are not equal, governments are not equal. I thought we're suppose to embrace diversity?  Or is it better to deny it?

You do realize nations of white countries have borders with other white nations?  Same with Asians and Africans. How is that racist?

Little side-step here, but he always gushes over Mexicans because of their Catholicism  America isn't even a catholic nation like why should we give a fuck about Mexican Catholicism. That's just some personal shit on your end, XUL

Just because you're so brainwashed. I don't really care that it seems audacious to you. It does to most people. That's indoctrination

Fair enough, but I think we wouldn't need borders if it weren't for adult children.

Yes, if all humans were perfect and nice and followed the rules and contributed something remotely beneficial to their society, we wouldn't need to worry about foreign strangers and their intentions. But, humans aren't perfect, not everyone plays by the rules, and some people are parasites on their community. It's a very small percentage of people, but they exist, and need to be acknowledged. We can play perfect world all we want, but it gets no where and is pointless in the context of a real world argument.

I don't think borders do much to mitigate those concerns. Local law enforcement does.

War and war like conflict would disappear if geographical areas couldn't be controlled by enormous governments with the ability to build armies. Hopefully then people would naturally start little conflicts to stomp anyone trying to organize to assert dominance and control. Especially if everyone was armed

Look, if you want one quick, off-the-top example of usefulness of borders, imagine there's a place that is amazing to live in, and is so much safer and better in every way compared to their surroundings, so everyone flocks there (not trying to imply at all that this is America, don't get stuck in that box). Well, soon, there will be too many people taking up space and resources, and the quality of living for that once beautiful place is then not as good, because everyone flooded into there. That's obviously just one vague example of the many extremely practical reasons that borders exist, and why some border laws are stricter than others. And no amount level of policing is going to mitigate that. Regardless, it is ridiculous to mindlessly allow problems to happen simply because we have strategies to combat those problems. That doesn't mean you want those problems to happen lol

Oh no people would congregate around prosperity. The horror. Geography controlled by government puts people under undue economic freedom and stress.

Certian places would still be cost prohibitive anyway. Besides all things find balance when artificial controls are removed.

How many poor people could migrate into the US without affecting a first world standard of living for US citizens?
