Maybe they could be taken seriously if they could work together but each side seems to largely think the other is too stupid and extreme to work with. Maybe it's true they're both extreme :grin:

In my town there's actually pretty little political division. Yet - there's a lot less of it in the 'republican' side... i see more negativity on the other side; however I've also seen a lot of it earlier in the former.  -- not to seem confusing which I know this is..  again; the thing is, for me, to stop war.  It's clear that now this is going well.

Beats me about Russian collision but I think the obvious would be to be skeptical of what he says. I don't care either way and I don't know the truth. But I would imagine most people think he's lying. Either that or he's such a wreck that he looks like he's lying and he's not

Politics are tough.

Here's one of the basic problems. Praising someone means condoning them as a whole; all of their actions.

So - praising "Him" would be condoning the awful things he said about women, and all of this. Which kind of has led me in the past to think that only children should be praised.

But then - the fact is, it's possible to show love and not praise. -- In fact, love is not really words; I mean - loving words are not necessarily saying, 'You are wonderful.'  Although -- saying, 'You are wonderful' can be a way of showing love.

But in the end, it's not necessary to even say 'You are wonderful' to show love. .  Love is simply being there -- and loving words are words spoken out of love..  It's vastly more how they are said, and what they are and what they are not which shows them to be from love.

And in that, it's not necessary to say someone is wonderful; love is good. And wonderful. When you are loving and playful, and the two are like skin and touch; it is most wonderful; and you can see the response most clearly in animals. Love and playfulness bring out the best.

That's easy to say if your demographic isn't constantly under attack from the other side. This is woefully naive and I am not a politically charged person,  just the battle lines have been cleanly drawn for a long time.

I don't know if Trump politically colluded with Russia. I think Putin may be too smart to let Trump be actively involved if it did happen. I am convinced that Trump is involved with a litany of financial crimes, many involving Russia.

Public opinion proves nothing but a majority of Americans now believe that Trump acts the way he does toward Russia (as opposed to our traditional allies) because "Putin has something on Trump". I am definitely in the camp that believes that he acts too incredibly guilty of this for it not to have happened.
