I have to disagree.  There is no easy road to less racism.  That is the same logic that says black people have less of a right to America than white people, and essentially the same logic espoused by the shooter in this case, he was a segregationist as I understand it.  I guess that is a step up from outright genocide, but he did also kill people in cold blood thinking this would somehow help achieve this goal.

That segregation is a solution to racism on any level.  It is a fundamentally racist policy.  If you're trying to say that humans with similar characteristics are likely to be found in close proximity to eachother, that is somewhat true but a generalization, and not intrinsically tied to race. 

You're seeming to imply that racism is an essential human quality, but it isn't.  It is something that was taught to people, and it can be transcended.

Maybe you could clarify.

You believe that races living seperately is better, or just easier?  Like most you're just saying races and not being specific, do you mean black and white people?  Should the American race be seperated from the Canadian race?  Is that just easier?

I would say it is neither it is a complete racist pipe dream.  That just isn't how it works.

there are still some hardcore racists in the south like South Caralina. I bet hes hes a KKK member of some sort that went rogue.

Its a very sad story for those people in the Church. To be killed while peacefuly praying is so sad. My deepest condolensces go to the families of the people who lost their lives that day in that church.

I don't believe either. What I said has nothing to do with my beliefs. It's just a fact that minority groups are going to actively seek out other minority groups when deciding where to live. This is a phenomena you will see in every country on the planet. It isn't because they're racists. It's because other people might be racist. 

But just use some common sense here. Who's going to face more racism on a daily basis.. a black person in a 90% black neighborhood, or a black guy in a 10% black neighborhood?

Here's an experiment. Type in "city-data.com", "AA family", and "relocating" into Google, and check the results. I haven't even done this but I'm pretty sure I know what you find. (aka the hypothesis)

I don't know, it really depends on the neighborhood, and what exactly you mean when you say black.

People do not like to live around people who hate them, especially when the people that hate them are more politically favored.  That is true of all humans with few exceptions.

So how does that your life easier.  It sounds like it would make your life more difficult.  Avoiding racist people might help you avoid racial discrimination as an individual, but racism is pretty much ubiquitous in alot of cultures so it is hard to avoid.

Avoiding racism does absolutely nothing to end racism.  If anything it enables it, because people are able to live in even more denial and fill in the blanks as to what these races are and how they explain all the problems in the world.

So you are saying there are not populations where around 10% are considered or identify as black, and do not suffer from racism?  It's funny, some people argue that racism is not a problem anymore, some people say that whites are the primary or sole victims of racism in today's world, and now I've got people telling me that racism is just the way it has to be.

None of these are good ideas.  The good idea is to abandon and condemn all racism to history where it belongs.

Is that supposed to be a metaphor for something?  We're not talking about home invasions.  We are talking about an apparent white supremacist/segregationist who just killed nine people.

So these people could have been avoided being killed how?  By moving out of South Carolina?  Really?
