It just doesn't make sense to ne for a church to separate people by race. The killer also wouldn't have had an easy target of a building full of black people. Maybe he would have thought twice if there was a risk of him killing his fellow white people.

Texas is a perfect example. Criminals have no clue if the person they are robbing has a gun or who around them may be carrying. It keeps people polite.
Clearly it works. Texas is the 15th in terms of gun murders per capita. Behind the other 14th red states of course... How extremely predictable...
Why is a higher gun death per capita always a bad thing? Would it make you feel better if there were more victims of crime and a lower gun death rate?
How about less gun death and less crime? Both go hand in hand. Don't you want that?

African-Americans might want to share and experience their religious traditions with people that are from the same culture and race, why doesn't that make sense? This is basic commonsense and the way humans have behaved since the beginning of time.

You may not carry a firearm on school premises (including day care and preschool facilities), in law enforcement offices or facilities, in court facilities, at polling places on election days, in churches or other religious sanctuaries,or in hospitals or medical facilities. The same reason why Irish, Polish, French, German, WASP, Greek, ect. churches exist. People choose to segregate themselves based on race and culture, it's not a bad thing.
Preserving ones culture is only natural, the concept of cultural diversity is not and is a failed concept.
Such fucking ignorance. "Choose" isn't the word to describe what people do when they are not allowed to participate with the rest of society.
You don't welcome a group for hundreds of years, then criticize them for being so segregated.

You must not be very good at numbers. Illinois has a higher rate of gun murder per 100,000 citizens. It also has some of the strictest gun regulations.
How extremely predictable.

Maybe things are different up in Canada, but owning a gun does not make you more likely of committing a crime.
Poverty and crime go hand in hand. Not guns. Do some reading on socioeconomics if you wanna form a convincing argument.

I totally agree that poverty makes people more likely to commit a crime.
The fact that the poor have easy access to guns makes them more likely to commit a crime using a gun.
You use the tools you have easiest access to.
Also, most crime happen in a split second when someone loses his cool. Guy gets pissed, shoots other guy. Immediate regret. What have I done. Etc... One burst of anger and he kills someone because its so damm easy. You pull a trigger an eighth of an inch with your index finger and it has lethal effect. A punch to the face might have been sufficient, but we'll never know...

I strongly disagree with almost all the points you have made. Gun control is backwards as fuck and it's not gonna fly in Texas. I'm gonna stop trying to convince you, because you sound pretty set in your ways.

Obama has spoken. He said these tragedies do not happen in other developed countries in the world. As with all incidents involving guns, this will be used for political purposes for disarming the nation.
Just like his past right hand man said.

Just as I suspected. You don't know what you're talking about. You're excused for being Canadian at least.
Did you notice Washington, DC's rate? Delaware? These states bleed blue.
And why are such heavily conservative states, where everyone owns a gun, like Idaho and North Dakota with such low rates of gun violence?
