we don't understand God. Not in an emotional sense. But in a deeper lack of fundamental understading to equate to his existence, or non-existence.

They can only see it if they are open to it.

When you are open to it and have experienced it, you cant help but see God everywhere. In the good, the bad, and the even more beautiful.


I need a bowl. Im really having a hard time in my faith right now. Im tiring of the effort it takes to try to combat people's preconcieved notions.. close mindedness and antagonism. It is all so clear to me. I dont profess to have the words.. but, it always amazes me that people can't just open their eyes and look around them to understand the meaning.

Just because you interprate that feeling and sight as "god" doesent make it so.

Im quite spiritual and open minded in fact its a preconcived notion to assume im not. But i just dont feel lts right for people to dictate beliefs in a world where we can't even explain existance itself. If you believe god is nature, good for you, doesent make it so though. Because if i belive there is God living in every single quark in every single atom in this universe it doesent make that the "truth" either. PeAcE!

I saw a similar question a long time ago(i think it was addressed to evangalist Billy Graham):"Being Omnipotent,could God technically create a rock so large that he himself could not lift it?"........and i THINK the answer was, YES, but he would be wise enough not to do so..i duno, i'm still in a state of shock seeing you and Senor Doobs over here in S & P.....not that it's a bad thing, i think more of the people from OTD should put in an appearance here once in a while :smile:

Here's a try...

God, in his Heavenly form, needs neither food or drink. Because he does not require these, he does not have the appendages to drink this hot beverage. It would be possible for God to incarnate Himself in a form that would be unable to handle the temperature of said drink, and conversly, He could incarnate himself in a form that could.

Yes, God could create a drink so hot that He Himself could not drink it, however, this would be an artificial limitation He placed upon Himself.
