Be The Witness (technique)

This is a straight forward technique to cultivate a vision of oneness within your life. I may come off as sounding preachy or instructional it is not meant so, i mean every word with unconditional love.

Dogen "enlightenment is becoming one with all things"

Enlightenment/Truth is one (taking truth/enlightenment as synonymous)



The mind is a decisive, divisive tool (which is necessary for survival).

Generally speaking you are a tool of this mind as you believe yourself to be the mind, you must somehow start using the mind as a tool.

This must first of all be accepted as truth, if you believe you are in total control of your mind stop reading, this cant help, you have to at first be ready to surrender your mind to truth.

The reason for the word surrender is....the divisive mind can not know truth, it can only surrender to it, then become truth.

As truth is one.
You can become one, but you can not know it, knowing implies the knower & the known, which is two!

Again, truth is one, knowing truth can not be achieved as knowing implies know-er & known.
This is why the know-er has to disappear & become truth.

What would you prefer, to struggle to know truth? Or to become the truth itself!?



So....can it be said that this mind/divisive tool can become one?

No, it is two, knower & known.

The mind (to become truth) must be a tool of that which is indivisible, that which is one.

The heart. :heart:




To do this first of all, use your mind as a tool...

Decide to divide all only as the witness & the witnessed.

Witnessing from your heart/centre of chest. (Feel it do not think it!!!)

Everything perceived is not labeled as this or that, just as witness & the witnessed, no judgement just witness & the witnessed.

The mind will eventually dissolve into the heart and will work (much much better than before) in service to truth, bringing you unending love, joy & bliss.





The witness gives nothing, the witness takes nothing.

The witness is acceptance.

Acceptance is love.

Love is joy, bliss, ecstacy.

Be the witness.
